A man is in the hospital after being hit by a vehicle overnight near Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.
Phoenix Police responded to the reported pedestrian crash Thursday just before midnight at 24th Street and Buckeye Road, where they found the man who had been hit by a car.
The man was hospitalized with serious injuries, police said.

An initial investigation found that the man was crossing the road in a marked crosswalk at the intersection, but against the light, according to Phoenix Police.
The intersection was closed overnight, but all roads have now completely reopened. The crash remains under investigation.
