When Phoenix Fire arrived, they found two vehicles, each with one occupant, involved in a serious crash. Firefighters had to free one person from a vehicle after putting out a fire.
One man was hospitalized in “extremely critical condition,” according to Phoenix Fire, and he was later pronounced dead. The woman who was driving the other vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
