Five people are in the hospital after a serious crash in south Phoenix Saturday evening.
Around 6:30 p.m., Phoenix fire crews responded to a crash near 23rd and Southern avenues. Details about the crash are limited at this time.
Firefighters said there were two vehicles involved. An adult woman needed to be pulled out of her vehicle. Three other adult women and a boy were taken to the hospital.
At least one woman is seriously hurt. We are awaiting an update on the other people’s conditions.
