'Dave has been listening to Soul and R&B since the mid 70's and presenting his Soul Show for nearly as long. The show you hear today likes to retain the exciting and refreshing sound reminiscent of the many illicit programs at that time. Classic Jazz Funk and Soul from the 70's and 80's played as nature intended, direct from the original vinyl records, twin tracks and a trip to the 60's Soul Cellar'
This authentic sound is partly down to extensive play direct from vinyl originals. Dave's record collection is not pristine, no cellophane bags gently handled with rubber gloves, no, this collection has been used, at home, at discos, at nightclubs and of course on the radio. You can probably tell from the occasional pop or scratch.
Apart from Soul, Dave has presented many other programs from Breakfast to Big Band and as a Program Director and Producer devised and launched new schedules, programs and station identification.
